The Texas-born, Louisiana-raised musical storyteller has earned worldwide fame for her ability to ignite a full-scale roadhouse rhythm and blues party every time she strolls onto the stage. I have seen Marcia many times and always look forward to her shows and albums. She performs a lot in the Texas area but makes it up to the Pacifica Northwest regularly. Texas (Austin) has a special blend of music not found elsewhere that is more than blues refined with passion, dance and soul.
